I publish learning material for two groups of readers who look nothing alike: IGNOU distance learners, and children in Classes 3 to 5. Different readers, one standard. Nothing goes into print until it has been checked against the source document.

Three imprints

One house, three lists.

Each list has its own readers and its own rules. All three are published by Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd., the registered house and the parent of everything else.

Three Thinkroo Kids activity kit boxes for Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5 on a pale lilac ground, with the headline Screen-free AI and coding kits.

01

Thinkroo Kids

Since 2026. Ages 7 to 11.
thinkrookids.com

Screen-free AI and coding activity kits. Nine modules covering sequencing, patterns, decomposition, directions, if-then rules, debugging and first AI ideas, printed as write-and-wipe activity cards, a robot grid mat and a workbook. The answer and the reasoning sit on the back of every card, so a child checks their own work and fixes their own mistakes.

  • Three kits, one ladder, Class 3 to Class 5
  • 72 to 80 cards, grid mat, workbook, parent and teacher guide
  • Nothing to install, no device, no coding knowledge needed
A dark navy panel with gold accents reading Project guidance, by course code, with six IGNOU course codes listed beneath.

02

ignouproject.com

Since 2010. Independent of the University.
ignouproject.com

Study support for IGNOU distance learners, organised by course code rather than by guesswork, because the rules differ between codes far more than most guidance admits. Two LinkedIn newsletters run alongside it, one course code at a time.

  • Synopsis structure, proforma requirements, supervisor eligibility
  • Report format, submission routing, and the common failure points
  • Assignment reference material and Term-End Examination preparation

03

Shri Chakradhar Publication

Registered 2019, trading since 2010.
shrichakradhar.com

The registered publishing house and the parent of everything else. Reference books, course-wise study material and author services, distributed worldwide through Amazon and through its own storefront.

  • Last-minute exam guides and solved previous-year papers
  • Help books, notes and guess papers by course
  • Author services for writers publishing their own titles

Editorial policy

The standard

Why the material is built the way it is, and what gets checked before anything reaches print.

Most IGNOU guidance in circulation was copied from programme structures the University has since replaced.

Superseded course codes. Word counts that appear in no official document. Font and spacing rules nobody ever prescribed. Dates presented as submission deadlines that in fact govern result declaration. A student following that guidance loses months, and usually finds out only when the proposal comes back marked for resubmission.

So every guide published here is checked against the current Programme Guide, Project Handbook or eGyanKosh document for that specific course code. Where a widely repeated claim is contradicted by the official document, the claim is named and corrected in print.

University requirements are cited to their source. Editorial judgement is labelled as editorial judgement. The two are never mixed, because a reader who cannot tell them apart cannot check either one.

The same habit runs through the children's list. CBSE publishes its Computational Thinking handbooks free, and very little of what is sold around them shows any sign of having read one.

We read the handbook first, then decide what is worth printing. Where a kit goes beyond what a curriculum actually contains, we say so rather than imply an alignment that does not exist.

The list

What I publish

Reference material in every case. None of it is a finished submission, and none of it is represented as a student's own work.

01

Projects and synopsis

Course-specific guidance on IGNOU project reports and dissertations: synopsis structure, the proforma for approval, supervisor eligibility, and which office receives which document.

02

Assignment reference

Course-wise reference answers written as models for structure, presentation and coverage, so the learner produces an original submission that meets the marking expectations.

03

Handwritten assignments

Prepared in the format study centres expect, with front-page fields and paper specifications taken from the course's own TMA booklet rather than from generic advice.

04

Help books and guess papers

Course-specific reference books, notes and solved question papers aligned to the current syllabus, refreshed before each Term-End Examination cycle.

05

Thinking kits, Classes 3 to 5

Screen-free computational thinking material: self-checking write-and-wipe cards, a robot grid mat, a practice workbook, a progress chart and a guide with the complete answer key.

06

Classroom and bulk supply

Classroom sets for schools and learning centres, designed to run as a ready period without a lab, a device, or prior coding knowledge on the teacher's part.

Plainly answered

Questions

Including the two that matter most: what this is not, and who it is not affiliated with.

Who is BK Sahni?

BK Sahni (Bhavya Kumar Sahni) is an independent educational publisher based in New Delhi. He founded Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. and publishes under three imprints: ignouproject.com for IGNOU distance learners, Thinkroo Kids for children in Classes 3 to 5, and a book list issued through Amazon. He has published study material since 2010.

Is ignouproject.com the official IGNOU website?

No. ignouproject.com and Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. are independent third-party study-help services. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University. Official dates, rules and forms should always be checked on ignou.ac.in.

What is Thinkroo Kids?

Thinkroo Kids is a screen-free AI and coding activity kit for children in Classes 3 to 5. Nine modules covering sequencing, patterns, decomposition, directions, if-then rules, debugging and AI basics become self-checking write-and-wipe cards, a robot grid mat and a workbook. It is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with CBSE or any board.

Is Thinkroo Kids approved by CBSE?

No. CBSE introduced a Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence curriculum for Classes 3 to 8 under Circular Acad-15/2026, effective from the 2026-27 session, and publishes free Student and Teacher Handbooks on cbseacademic.nic.in. Thinkroo Kids is independent supplementary material designed in the spirit of those curriculum themes. CBSE does not endorse it or any other commercial kit, and parents are encouraged to download the free handbooks directly.

What books has BK Sahni written?

IGNOU last-minute exam guides, solved previous-year papers, guess papers and project methodology references, published under Shri Chakradhar Publication and available on Amazon, alongside the self-development title Mind Loop.

Which IGNOU programmes does the material cover?

MBA, MCOM, MEG, MHD, MPS, MPA, MAEC, MAPC, MARD, MLIS, MSW, BAG, BCOMG, BBA and other undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes, including project courses such as MMPP-001 for MBA and MCOP-001 for MCom.

Does the material replace a student's own work?

No. Everything published here is reference material. Project methodology guides explain how to design and write original work, and assignment references are models for structure and coverage. They are not ready-made submissions.
